Back in November my upper arm started causing me severe pain. Through the months it got so bad that I could no longer raise my arm. My doctor put me on a muscle relaxer to ease the pain. She was 100% positive that I had fibromyalgia and even offered Lyrica. Since I have watched my sister and first cousin struggle with the pain of fibromyalgia for years, I was devastated and terrified of what might lie ahead.
